Sales & Service Terms

1. Scope
These Sales & Service Terms (“Terms”) apply to all goods and services provided by Ducted Vac (“we”, “our”, “us”) including:
- Supply of ducted vacuum systems, parts, and accessories
- Installation, servicing, and repairs of ducted vacuum systems
- Any related sales, quotes, or technical support
By placing an order, booking a service, or purchasing through www.ductedvac.com.au, you agree to these Terms in addition to our Privacy Policy and Website Terms & Conditions.
2. Quotes & Estimates
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on information provided by the customer. Additional work not included in the quote will be charged at our current rates.
- Any changes to the scope of work may result in revised pricing.
3. Bookings & Deposits
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking for installation or repair services.
- Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled work date.
- We will confirm your booking in writing (email or text).
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of services or before goods are dispatched unless prior arrangements are made.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, EFT, credit card, or other options as advised.
- Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs.
5. Delivery & Installation
- Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays beyond our control.
- The customer is responsible for providing safe access to the work area.
- Any existing damage or site issues that prevent installation will be documented before work begins.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must:
- Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of obstacles
- Provide necessary information about the property and existing system
- Notify us of any health, safety, or access concerns
- Obtain any required permissions or approvals (e.g., from landlords or body corporate)
7. Warranty
- All goods and services are covered by guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant; we will assist with claims.
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of service unless otherwise stated.
- Warranty is void where goods are misused, modified, or serviced by an unauthorised party.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a fee if notice is less than 48 hours.
9. Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted for faulty goods in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns are at our discretion and may incur a restocking fee.
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss or damage
- Loss resulting from delays or circumstances beyond our control
- Damage caused by incorrect installation by others, misuse, or lack of maintenance
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, supply chain issues, or illness.
